Thi thing is crazy powerful! Its also super loud (even for a 7" grinder) but dang its insanely powerful!!!!! Batteries last a decent amount of time but given how strong this is you can do a lot in a short time!!! Batteries charge fast as well. Truly a BEAST!!!!!!!
I have a small cordless 4.5" angle grinder, and a large corded 9", so to have a CORDLESS 7" is a nice in-between when an outlet isn't in close proximity for the 9" grinder.
Has plenty of pep & power with the 2 included 4AH batteries (note that both batteries must be used; you cannot operate this with just 1 of them installed). I like that the batteries have a fuel gauge on them so you can see how much juice you have remaining in each, and the included dual-charger brought them up from 1 bar to just about full relatively quickly (not lightening speed, but didn't take all day...a few hours, and while it was still charging, they were back up to somewhere in the full bar range of the gauge).
Has a safety to turn on, so it's difficult to impossible to accidentally start it up, although when you release the trigger be sure to give it time to come to a complete stop, because this does NOT stop on a dime by any means (several seconds of winding down to a halt...the slowest stopping speed that I've seen yet).
Handle can be installed ambidextrously, and they include a couple of different wheels (a cut-off and a grinder), which is nice. The storage bag zipper broke on me first use, so I'd say that is pretty worthless...but the star of the show, the grinder itself, is very nice!
This angle grinder is amazing! It is quite heavy, at over 10 pounds with the batteries installed, but the amount of work that you can do with it is impressive. It lasts for a very long time and has enough torque/HP to grind very quickly. The little carry bag is minimal, but fits it perfectly and keeps everything together. The batteries charge about as quickly as you would expect any 4Ah battery to charge. It comes with a cutoff and a grind wheel, charger, batteries, and the spanner tool. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with the grinder. It's expensive, but when you don't want to, or can't, drag out the extension cord, this will almost certainly get the job done! I recommend you give this product a try if you're need a portable, high-power angle grinder!
I have a 4&1/2" grinder that handles 75% of what I use a grinder/cutoff tool for easily.
However when cutting something thicker than an inch or grinding a larger surface it is less than ideal.
A 7&1/2" grinder can cut about twice as deep so instead of having to, say, make passes through both sides of a stone you can cut to a full 2."
This is a big, heavy, and maybe a bit cumbersome tool - really nice to not have cord hanging off of it.
I attached a video of cutting a piece of bedframe. I was able to do so without changing the position of the wheel. With my small grinder I would have needed to cut one side and then cut the side after shifting the grinder, or better, repositioning the angle iron.
Has a nice paddle switch to avoid turning on too easily.
Seems like a pretty good quality tool.
Berserker 36V Cordless 7" Brushless Power Angle Grinder Tool
When I received the Berserker 36V cordless angle grinder I was pretty much blown away. This is a serious tool and packs a lot of power. The unit received had two 20V batteries, 2 bay charger, wrenches, grinding wheel, cutoff wheel, carry bag, side handle and battery protector bar. Fully charged the batteries and experienced a ton of torque and holding power of this tool. I have a lot of Makita tools and this Berserker tool seems comparable in quality build. Granted this will be strictly used for home use projects so I can’t say this would be better than a more expensive name brand unit. That said, this is more than enough for my projects and very happy with the Berserker angle grinder.
